Amana Lai is a senior at Vancouver Christian School who is eager to continue her second year as an IT executive with Generation Hearts Foundation.In this role, she manages the organization’s website and ensures it remains a trusted hub for updates and partnerships. By maintaining Generation Hearts’ online presence, Amana builds confidence with the audience and strengthens trust in the organization. Her motivation comes from a desire to help others grow beyond their limitations, which fuels her passion for service and her commitment to making seniors feel seen. After high school, she hopes to pursue rehabilitation sciences and empower people who are often overlooked by society. Amana’s dedication extends beyond academics and her role at Generation Hearts. She competes on her school’s badminton team, coaches seniors to improve their skills, and serves as an active member of her school’s student council. She also finds joy in playing piano and exploring hidden food spots across Vancouver. Looking ahead, Amana hopes to inspire more peers to join Generation Hearts to help shape a community grounded in compassion and inclusion.
