Mandy Ji is a sophomore at Burnaby Mountain Secondary and is thrilled to be the Director of Media for Generational Hearts this year. As an aspiring lawyer and passionate advocate for women’s rights, she loves using media as a unique way to share stories that matter and bring people together. Mandy enjoys finding creative ways to connect with others, whether it’s performing with her school’s music ensembles, going to K-pop concerts, exploring Chinese brush painting techniques, discovering new foods in Chinatown, San Francisco, or working on projects that truly make a difference in the community. Her passion for the arts and culture is a huge part of who she is as a Chinese American.  Mandy tries to bring creativity and curiosity into everything she does, always looking for new perspectives and ideas to inspire her work. In her role, Mandy looks forward to creating content that highlights the experiences of seniors and helps build a more connected, compassionate community, not just within Generational Hearts but within the broader world as well.
